Phone-Verified Users
Every user on Vaasio verifies their phone number via OTP before they can message, book, or list. No anonymous accounts, no fake identities.
Video-First Listings
Properties with 15-second video reels give you a real look at the space — rooms, common areas, and surroundings. Photos can be staged; video cannot.
Verified Badges
Owners who complete ID verification and pass our listing standards earn a verified badge. Look for it when deciding who to trust.
Token Protection
Your token advance is secured via Cashfree until you move in and confirm. If the listing is misrepresented, you get your money back.
Roommate Compatibility
Our roommate matching system connects you with people who share your lifestyle preferences. Chat is only unlocked after both parties agree.
Content Moderation
We actively review listings, messages, and reports. Fake or harmful listings are removed, and repeat violators are permanently banned.
Protect Yourself
While Vaasio actively verifies users and listings, here are signs something might not be right:
- ✕Owner refuses a video call or in-person visit
- ✕Asks you to pay outside the platform (bank transfer, UPI to personal account)
- ✕Listing has no photos or only stock/stolen photos
- ✕Rent is significantly below market rate for the area
- ✕Owner pressures you to decide immediately without seeing the property
- ✕Requests your personal documents before you have signed any agreement
- ✕No verified badge and no video reel available
